'Paperbag Souls' Game Design

For my Design Fundamentals Certificate III Major Design Work, I created designs and artwork for a fictitious video game called 'Paperbag Souls.' There are six character designs, one promotional poster, three in-game illustrations, a game case and a logo. I chose to do character design because I find it most enjoyable.

These are just a few pages from my Design and Technology Major Work (see projects for the website description). I created a web-comic that is rendered with materials not normally used in comic book art e.g. newspaper, cardstock and notepaper. Above are the four best pages from the book.

Bio

I'm a web designer, developer and illustrator. I enjoy creating beautiful designs and learning new things as well as challenging myself.

I learnt the basics of HTML and PHP at High School but most of my knowledge is self-taught. I specialise in semantic XHTML and CSS, Actionscript 2.0, web design and illustration.

I like tea parties, fairys, secret gardens, cascading style sheets, flowers, frills, lace and ribbon. Sparkles and glitter and swirly curvilinear flourishes mixed with long words that mean decadent or opulent or resplendent. I also like kitties.
